iPadOS 26.2 Beta finally fixes multitasking for those who didn’t enjoy Apple’s original changes in the iPadOS 26 update. Apple’s new windowed multitasking system introduced at WWDC is still here — and still great — but the removal of Split View and Slide Over frustrated a lot of longtime iPad users. With iPadOS 26.2 Betas 2 and 3, Apple has officially brought both features back.
