Day two of my Appalachian Trail section hike of Georgia. On this day I start at Stover creek shelter and head up and over many climbs including Sassafras Mountain. I end up hiking 12.9 miles to Gooch Mountain shelter. The shelter and camping area was packed but I was able to find a site to hand my hammock.
