Well, I hit 100 subscribers two days ago (I think lol). So this is my way of saying thank you :D! I hope you enjoy this cover of the beautiful BGM played in Episode 12 of Ao Haru Ride. This song was also played in Episode 3 and 6. Episode 3 only played the first few measures (I think), while Episode 6 didn't have all the octaves you see in here. In Episode 12, it starts at around 4:00, and ends at around 5:25 or so.
This took me a while to record...I was getting it right in practice, and boom, comes recording time, and I can't get a clean run through until two hours later looooool.

Damn, Shigatsu wa Kimi no Uso (Your Lie in April) is awesome. I read the manga, but the anime brings it to life. And then theres this BGM...its so good. It first appeared in Episode 3. It also appeared in Episode 4, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 11, 12, 13, 17, 18, 19 and 21. However, every Episode, the BGM was a little bit different, some parts were repeated, some parts were cut off, etc...so I just tried my best to make a cover that you guys would like.

Nah, just kidding. Seraph of the End is pretty damn good in my opinion. After watching the first Episode, I decided to go read the manga since I didnt want to wait week after week lol. Except I finished the manga as well (up to 32 scanlated chapters right now, if you want to know the pacing of the anime, Id say that Episode 1 was Chapter 1, Episode 2 was Chapter 2. Theres going to be a 2nd Season for Seraph starting in October of this year, so Fall 2015).
Im not sure how many different drum patterns there were, but I had five in my sheets. Sawano, y u make a 1:30 song so complicated plz.

Im sure you were all expecting the Re:Zero medley to be uploaded today. Two months ago, I hadnt even hit 100 subscribers, and now Im at 500. I cant thank all of you enough. And I gotta thank LegoLapse for showing me this song. Its so good. IF YOU HAVENT LISTENED TO THE ACTUAL SONG, I SUGGEST YOU GO LISTEN TO IT RIGHT NOW! I mean, reading the lyrics on my cover will probably not move you as much as when you listen to the actual song with all the instruments in the background, and the great singing by Rin and Len. The crane wife...such a sad story :O.
This is probably the hardest cover Ive posted on YouTube so far. Id say 90% of my arrangement is right hand octaves...so have fun with that. The 180 BPM really gets to you, and I rushed a little there making it even faster lmao. But Keep On Keeping On was pretty annoying too. Oh, and Im using the new VST that I actually bought (I didnt go to the dark side). Pianoteq 5 Grand D4 and K2 sound pretty awesome. It sounds even better with headphones in, but whatever. This wasnt that long of a description actually 0.o.

So I havent uploaded in almost four weeks. Sorry about that. I just finished midterms, and am now on Spring Break, so I will be uploading hopefully a few covers in the next week or so :D! I was surprised today when I saw that God Eater Episode 10 had come out, so I watched it, and it was rip all over the place. That last scene with the sister was really unexpected, and I got chills when she...you know...*no spoilers*.
Anyways, this BGM is played when Lenka gets infected/becomes sick, and blah blah blah because no more spoilers :3. Although I hope you actually watched the Episode before clicking on this cover xD. Anyways, its a simple but enjoyable piece, and it didnt take that long to record :D!
