The Avenger Air Defense System, designated AN/TWQ-1 under the Joint Electronics Type Designation System, is an American self-propelled surface-to-air missile system which provides mobile, short-range air defense protection for ground units against aerial targets such as cruise missiles, unmanned aerial vehicles, low-flying fixed-wing aircraft, and helicopters.

The Rockwell B-1 Lancer is a supersonic variable-sweep wing, heavy aircraft used by the United States Air Force (USAF). It is commonly called the Bone (from B-One). The USAF had 66 B-1Bs in service as of September 2012. The B-1B is expected to continue to serve into the 2030s, with the Northrop Grumman B-21 Raider to begin replacing the B-1B after 2025. The B-1s currently in inventory will reach the end of their service lives by 2045.

The M142 High Mobility Artillery Rocket System (HIMARS) is a light multiple rocket launcher developed in the late 1990s for the United States Army, mounted on a standard Army M1140 truck frame. The M142 HIMARS is the light, wheeled version of the M270 Multiple Launch Rocket System (MLRS), the system utilizes the same pod as the M270 MLRS uses. The launcher is easily transportable by the C-130 Hercules.

U.S. Sailors fire 25mm rounds from the Mk 38 Mod 1 Automatic Machine Gun System during a live fire gunnery exercise.
The Mk 38 is the naval version of the M242 system. The Mk 38 consists of the M242 chain gun and the Mk 88 Mod 0 machine gun mount. It provides ships with defensive and offensive gunfire capability for the engagement of a variety of surface targets such as patrol boats, floating mines, and various shore-based targets. The standard rate of fire is up to 200 rounds per minute. The weapon has an effective range of 3,000 metres (9,800 ft), depending on the type of ammunition used.
