I'm back. Yes it's been a quiet time on the allotment this year. But I've been busy gardening at home.
The allotment weeds came back with a vengeance, just as the council inspectors came. So the first job was to clear the weeds and trees and turn over the soil.
Next was to get some winter crops in: winter cabbage, beans, radishes, wild rocket and a winter mix of salad. Plus Elephant garlic and Shensyu onions for overwintering.
