Grammy-winning drummer and composer Antonio Sanchez explores the drum kit as a melodic instrument and showcases his approach to storytelling with the instrument. Using a game his mother taught him as a kid - "the random line concept" - Sanchez demonstrates how he creates "characters" to build elaborate and memorable drum solos.
