Some of my favorite things to look for when shopping for antiques are planters, mirrors, frames, and kitchen accessories. Structural and building-type items like wooden doors, corbels, finials, etc., are always great finds!
Antiques and vintage items are a great way to bring character and unique pieces into your home without spending a ton of money! Vintage home decor items are often rare and distressed in a way that is special & unique to that specific item.
Another reason I love shopping for antiques is I find I am flooded with memories of things from the past such as my great-grandma and spending so much quality time with her. Finding things I often saw her use or have always brings a smile to my face!
