Hey, Cruise Buoys! Welcome back to another episode of our daily vlog series onboard the Norwegian Cruise Line's NCL Viva. Today, we're docked in the beautiful island of Antigua, but things didn't exactly go as planned...
🚢 Ever wondered what happens when a dream beach day turns into a rainy nightmare? Join us as we navigate a series of unfortunate events in Antigua, from a poorly organized beach resort to a less-than-stellar dining experience back on the ship.
🌴 Antigua Adventure:
We were so excited to spend the day soaking up the sun at a local beach resort in Antigua. Unfortunately, Mother Nature had other plans with unexpected rain showers. The resort, which was already in chaos, only became more disorganised. .
🛳️ Back to NCL Viva:
Disheartened, we headed back to the comfort of our ship, NCL Viva. Despite the gloomy weather, the sail away from Antigua was breathtaking. The rain clouds made for some dramatic and beautiful scenery as we sailed into the sunset.
🍝 Dinner at Onda by Scarpetta:
Looking forward to a comforting meal, we dined at Onda by Scarpetta, an Italian specialty restaurant that's a favourite on Norwegian Cruise Line ships. However, the experience was far from perfect. We waited over an hour for our food, and when it finally arrived, the quality was disappointing.
