This year’s CSICon, the long-running conference of the Committee for Skeptical Inquiry (CSI), will be held in Buffalo, New York, from June 11–14, and it will be an incredibly special one. It will observe the fiftieth anniversary of CSI and its publication, Skeptical Inquirer.
In anticipation of the big event, I am doing a series of interviews with some of the scheduled speakers. For this episode, my guest was Amardeo Sarma, founder and past chairman of the German skeptics organization GWUP, the Society for the Scientific Investigation of Pseudosciences. He is a CSI fellow and member of CSI’s executive council. He will be participating in a panel at the conference along with Richard Saunders from Australia, Leo Igwe from Nigeria, and Alejandro Borgo from Argentina to discuss organized skepticism from an international perspective.
