Recorded using a 1985 Emerson (Orion) portable VHS VCR model VCP700 paired with a very compact, but low-end, Konica CV-301 Cosvicon tube camera. The camera has poor low light sensitivity, hence why the video looks the way it does, but that adds to the aesthetic of this. Recorded on SP on the VCR, mono linear audio.
FYI the noise/sparkle at the bottom of the screen is called head switching noise, and will be present on all analog consumer video tape equipment. This is normally hidden by overscan when watching it on an actual TV.
