What better way to celebrate Halloween than with Anthony Burgess's spooky reading of 'The Bells' by Edgar Allan Poe?

In December 2020, Carcanet will be publishing Burgess's Collected Poems, and to mark this occasion, the International Anthony Burgess Foundation will be launching our online exhibition 'Anthony Burgess and Poetry'. We have searched the archives for audio of Burgess reading his favourite poems, and will be sharing them throughout December.
