This video is a tribute to Merlin and Will's friendship. I didn't take everything literally so here are the meanings so you know what I was trying to incorporate:
"Cold light above us" means that they have some unresolved problems [like the fact that Merlin left without telling Will why 0:02-0:04]
"Skin white as winter" means that Merlin tells Will why he left and apologizes.
