Pliny reacts to his many hours of having played Anthem through the closed Alpha and two "demo" weekends. He arrives at the conclusion that Anthem is good but not spectacular and is unlikely to be the tremendous hit EA and Bioware are hoping. At least in it's current form. He laments Biowares final repudiation of everything that made the developer so beloved while admitting he enjoys many of the fundamentals of the games combat and mobility systems.
