You know them, you love them, it's Oakpaw and Cedarsplash! (plus Maplebreeze, Gravelfall, and Tawnyheart) I was originally going to do the Don't Listen meme with them (with half being Gravelpaw/fall and the other half being Oakpaw) but I couldn't get the sketches/tweening to look right so here we are (also I might have a different idea for Don't Listen using TotK so,,,) Hope yall enjoy it! I do plan on working on Toyhouse a lot this month for Artfight but here is the general story of this until then so yall know what is going on:
After Oakkit is born Winterclan treated him a bit, differently. Fearing he would grow up like his father, the clan tiptoed around the kit a lot and even Maplebreeze would not tell him about Cedarsplash. Since Cedarsplash was originally a Summerclan kit, Oakkit is a lot smaller compared to the average Winterclan warrior and as such believed that was the reason for how the clan treated him. He began having dream meetings with Cedarsplash in the Deep Caves as Oakkit/paw believed that if he got stronger, the clan would stop treating him so differently. While a small part of Cedarsplash did care for his kit, he mainly cared about raising Oakpaw to be like him and finish the legacy he started and ultimately failed to complete. Their trainings grew harsher overtime with many leaving Oakpaw injured as he grew more and more terrified of the cat who was supposed to be his father. His mentor, Gravelfall, was originally Cedarsplash's apprentice before his death and often tries to help Oakpaw alongside his mother Maplebreeze and the medicine cat Tawnyheart whom Oakpaw often sees when he wakes up.
