This is an AnsaFone At-11 announcement / answering machine from 1967.
The first segment is the recording I found on the machine once I got it working. The second is a recording I put on a new tape, that I'll be using at my VCF exhibit this year! I'm using the other AnsaFone as a speaker / amplifier.
The machine seems to be fine electronically, mechanically it needed help. The capstan and motor were stick, and the belt had gone slack. I've been able to mend those, and I think the machine will work well for the weekend it'll be on display.
