Normal spells are some of the best cards in Yu-Gi-Oh, and they’re also functionally the most direct and therefore simplest. You activate a spell, and the thing on the spell happens. In a game as complicated as Yu-Gi-Oh (Arktos XII - Chronochasm Vaylantz, Royal Rhino With Deceitful Dice, Promethean Princess, Bestower of Flames), it’s refreshing that Harpie’s Feather Duster’s nine word effect is basically as good today as it was in 2003.
