Many of you probably love to eat shrimp. And the more they are, the better. Shrimp living now can reach a length of about 25 centimeters. But in the seas of the Cambrian period lived Anomalous Shrimp from 40 to 100 centimeters long, which itself could eat anyone. In fact, Anomalocaris is an arthropod, but it has nothing to do with shrimps. He got his name because of the characteristic shape of the oral appendages. Their prints were the first find associated with this creature. It happened at the end of the 19th century. Over more than 100 years of research, scientists have figured out what this prehistoric predator actually looked like. It had a mouth apparatus with teeth, unusual side plate fins, and a flat, fan-shaped tail.
