Eligibility:
All works must:
Fall into the science fiction, speculative fiction, or fantasy genres.
Be original works of fiction which were either:
- first published in English in 2019;
- OR self-published prior to 2019, and published by a professional publishing house for the first time in 2019;
- OR published outside the USA prior to 2019 and published by a US-based publishing house for the first time in 2019.
- Other types of reprints or special editions are not eligible.
If part of a series, be the first, second or third work published in the series (publishing order). No further works in a series will be considered.
