Tier 1, Beginner:
1. Read a book that feels "seasonal" to you (can be cozy, spooky, spring-themed if you're in the Southern hemisphere, etc.) If you don’t read seasonally, choose a book with seasonal colors on the cover!
2. Read a book by a Latin American author.
3. Read a book nominated for an award or listed on a reading list other than the Newbery Award. (You can still choose a book that has made the Newbery list! It just has to also appear on another list or award.)

8. Read a book in a genre you don't read as often in Middle Grade
9. Read a book from a previous TBR (doesn't have to be specifically a Middle Grade Magic TBR)
10. Read a book featuring Latin American folklore or mythology.
