Since I started woodturning, each year I make my wife an anniversary present and getting those unique ideas is certainly getting harder and harder. Luckily I had this project in mind for a few weeks. It was a challenge to make sure that it came out something like I imagined.
Made from a selection of different woods, Sapele, Oak, Mahogany, Iroko and Purple Heart.
Making this created lots of dust where each petal took around an hour to make using the Dremel. This was finished with spray lacquer.
