Hello, world!
So here is my entry for the Worldvision Editing Contest hosted by MSSProductions! I represent the country of the "Philippines"!
The theme was to use a song in our country's language and it got me quite excited since I've been wanting to edit something with original songs made in my country and spoken in our native language haha!
The idea to do this one came the moment I found the theme because other than this song was an OST from a series that focused on sisters, the song itself captivates me in a way, I just had to use the Frozen sisters with it! xD
I'd meant to make it longer but school had been hectic so I'd only begun doing this yesterday even if I've had the idea about a month ago already ;w; .. oh well, I tried my best in hopes I'd pass to the next round!
This video was also kind of experimental since I'm still in the midst of getting the hang with After Effects and I'd only started using the Camera tool on this. My first time so it's not as perfect, but I hope it sufficed haha!
Watching this after rendering for an hour and a half, I'd seen sooooo much mistakes and it didn't really come out as smoothly as I wanted it to, but my laptop's pretty bad so I hadn't noticed them while editing t-t .. even the coloring is too saturated aaaaaa, sorry! I hope you guys still like it!
For the translations: (I'm no professional linguist and not as flexible with Filipino even if it's my mother tongue so bear with me haha)
-I had a hard time figuring out how to translate the song in english because there were quite a few sentences I couldn't exactly directly translate and still keep its original meaning, know what I mean?
-"Kanlungan" itself is pretty vague depending on how it's used. I decided to use "haven" since I interpreted it to mean "a safe place to be".
-The line "hinding hindi sa 'yo magbabago" was hard to translate cause it could mean "I will never change in your eyes/perception" or something close to that so I went with "this will never change" pertaining to their love never changing or so.

Story:
Elsa and Jack met long ago and after some time, entered into a relationship. But after years of being together, Jack suddenly called it quits and decided to break up with Elsa because he didnt want both of them to suffer once Elsa dies or ages while he doesnt. Elsa refused but Jack just left. Elsa told Anna what happened and she adviced Elsa to try and talk to him about it and tell him that all that wont matter as long as they love each other. So Elsa heads to Jacks room to do so but Jack refuses to talk and instead tells her to leave. Offended, Elsa left and headed to the mountains where her ice castle was, not knowing that her sorrowful feelings had caused a storm to form in the mountains. Hiccup, her best friend, sees the storm and flies over to Elsa, sensing there may be some trouble going on.
Meanwhile, North finds Jack looking disappointed and talks to him about his problem with Elsa. He tells him the exact same advice Anna told Elsa. While remembering how horrible he was with breaking Elsas heart, Anna knocks on his door and tells him that Elsa hasnt been home since she left. In worry, Jack went to look for her and found her in the ice castle, but she wasnt alone. He sees her with Hiccup and after seeing them, he feels a hint of jealousy in him and leaves.
In some snowy mountain just a few miles away from Arendelle, Jack flew and remembering what he just saw made him angry and he shoots ice all over. Inside Elsas room in the castle, while crying over Jack , she feels the cold wind from the mountains, guessing it was Jack, she rushed over there. Once she arrived, they talk and explain to each other what had been happening with them ever since the break up and, eventually, they got together again. But then, Pitch arrives, in fear that he might hurt Elsa, Jack attacks him but looses. Pitch then attacks Elsa, causing Elsa to die for she was a mere mortal, a human being. Jack wakes up, finding an unconcious Elsa without a hint of life in her and he mourns for her death.
THE END.

So about the video.
Here is my entry for Round 4 of the Hogwarts Editing Contest, History of Magic!
The theme of the round was Leader vs. Member, and because I am the leader of the Hufflepuff house, I will be going against my last Member standing, Moonshadow!
Gaaaahhhhh, I feel so nervous and embarassed! How can I go against her when shes much talented than I am?? Like, have you seen her Yurio videos and her entries? Totally out of my league. Shes sooooo pro! xD

Anyways, this took me around 3 days to finish because I had a hard time with Twixtor and with rendering. And also, we were both kinda rushed cause it took us a hard time to choose a song to use. So yeah, pardon such a pathetic try for fx editing. xD

Oh, and one more thing, dont expect me to upload any huge pojects, okay? I might go back to fx editing or multifandom editing or whatsoever.Im not giving up on crossovers though, Jelsa is still a part of my life! Its just so stressful lately when I think about all the projects I have to work on because I know youre all expecting so badly. So yeah, dont expect me to upload any huge crossover projects in a few days. Ill do one when I feel like it, okay? ^^
