Tom McKinney - Guitar

Mark Thomas - Director of Photography
Rob Kelledy - Sound recording and Mastering
Tim Williams - Editor and Producer

This piece came into existence after studying Britten's Nocturnal in detail, a core piece of repertoire for solo guitar. Both the sound world and the idea of 'dreams' resonated with me and I decided to carry the concept of the 'intangible' into my own piece for Tom. I landed on the title, hypothetically, as to me the word suggested introspection and contemplation, as well as the idea of something that exists only in the mind; a dream, an idea or an imaginary scenario, for example. The piece is made up of three miniatures which act as windows into some brief ephemeral thoughts.
