August 7 was a day of joy in Spring Hill as the community gathered to dedicate a bronze bust of Anna Bunch, a woman born into slavery who embraced freedom and built a good life for her family. She lived and worked for several years at Rippa Villa in the 1880s, and her family has a strong and important legacy in the community. Join us for this moving and celebratory moment!
