This is now I biweekly series, money and other problems do get in the way, sorry guys D:

Alrighty, this AniMonday is about Toukiden: Kiwami, a hunting/action game available for the vita, PS4, and PC. Think of it like Monster Hunter, but with an entertaining twist! This game is made by Koei Tecmo Games, the same people who brought you such games as the Dynasty Warriors series. This truly shows in the gameplay, where the mechanics are very similar to Dynasty Warriors. My friends and I also found that, though really fun, Toukiden lacks the challenge and difficulty behind fighting these giant Oni. It's not nearly as hard as Monster Hunter, which isn't necessarily a bad thing, just something to point out. Item drops aren't nearly as rare or random, you break a body part, once picked up you know exactly what you're getting. Last qualm I'd like to point out is that the FPS does drop if there's too much going on at once,. Also, since this is a Vita port, the graphics are noticeably not up to snuff.

Overall, I'd say this is a very solid and enjoyable game with lots of replay-ability! Especially if you are into these types of hunting and fighting giant boss/monster games.

Before you you read the next part I HIGHLY RECOMMEND NOT BUYING THIS ON STEAM. At least not yet, it's apparently quite buggy and lot's of people have a love-hate relationship with it. It's overall just a bad port so wait a bit and hopefully they can fix it.
