The first area was deemed too small for the number of cosplayers present, so everyone made the monumental walk from a stairway at the L. A. Convention Center to the XBox Plaza across the street from crypto(dot)com arena. The benefit of this area is not just for the space but also for the people walking by to see what is going on.
