This is a animatronic pirate greeter I programmed for the 2022 Free Comic Book Day Event at Wild Time Comics in Attleboro MA. I made this work with a Gemmy Dead Eye Drake and a FrightProps PicoBoo Programming Controller. It was very hard to figure out how to wire up this dam thing correctly and also get the programming synchronization right on the mouth. We had him displayed next to the scary version of Dead Eye Drake along with a pirate rattle head in a treasure chest. The pirate rattle head was also programmed to the item so it would shake when the item was activated. Overall this was a very fun “project” and I hope to do more stuff like this in the future.
