This video was meant to be done and uploaded on the last day of 2019, as I have done annually before but my start of the year proved busier than I anticipated! On top of that, finding suitable music for this animation compilation proved to be more challenging than I would like to admit :'3
BUT HERE IT IS, one month later but still holds up to the yearly tradition of making and posting one of these!
Last year (2019) wasn't as animation active year for me as I'd have hoped. I mainly got around storyboarding, processing and sketching out already existing projects BUT while I feel like 2019 didn't exactly scream in quantity, I honestly learned A LOT which was my goal, to begin with~ ^^
I have moved onto animating 24 fps, which I felt for the longest time being the most taunting number as I usually animate every single frame (1s) in a movement. At the end of 2019, I FINALLY caught the grasp on how to take advantage when animating with 2s or 3s and honestly, it was a huge improvement boost for me :3c
I also did a lot of tweening last year and while that's not as exciting, I still learned more about that one as well!
Overall, 2019 for me was the year of learning and actually trying to weigh and think about how I could improve and make my animations better. I'm very proud what I achieved and hopefully... 2020 will be the year I finish more projects than getting started with some, haha~
I was still pretty impressed how much I got to fit into this video and I hope that you all like it!
Thank you for sticking with me through 2019 ♥ I promise (FINGERS CROSSED!!!) that 2020 will be more animation filled year for me~
