Remember the Bouncing Ball animation that I posted a while back? Well I decided to take my animation game up a level and get into a walk-cycle.

I used a reference from Preston Blair's book "Cartoon Animation" and copied each individual frame by hand into Photoshop Elements. From there, I took the individual frames (saved as PNG files) and laid them out on the timeline in Premiere Elements in order, including two additional frames that were not referenced from the book to make the cycle repeat, adjusted the timing so the animation looked smooth, and then just looped the frames in length to the accompanying music.

The music piece in question is Happy Alley by Kevin MacLeod (incompetech.com); Licensed under Creative Commons: By Attribution 3.0 License creativecommons.org/licenses/by/3.0
