In this Unity game development tutorial we're going look at how we can make use of animation retargeting in Unity, to use the same animations between different characters.

We'll start by downloading a character and an animation from Mixamo.com. We'll set up the character in the scene and have the animation loop continuously.

Then we'll add another character to the scene and show how to use the Unity Avatar system to reuse animations between the characters.

We'll explain how 3D animations work and how we can alter the the muscle settings of the character Avatar to change the range of motion.
