In this Maya tutorial, I cover the entire process step by step on how to animate a dinosaur run cycle from start to finish using the free Jurrasic World Irex dinosaur rig. This tutorial assumes some prior knowledge of Maya and animating in Maya, but everything is in real-time so following along should be relatively easy. I've combined each part of this animation tutorial into one complete course! You can find the individual parts of this course in the playlist here: youtube.com/watch?v=M_D71G3vK-8&list=PL6JtfrTN-l3wwmD3v7IcQF9YQc_zFh7BW
The approach we will take throughout this tutorial is a straight-ahead layered method, which is a great workflow, especially when focusing on body mechanics animation.
