I am personally very proud of this video. It's not often that I get to go nuts on transitions (and effects, in some areas) to create a video of this sort of style. Even though there are lots of transitions, all have a certain theme and flow... the effects and transitions I put together to make this are random and yet not, they all have a purpose and mesh together (at least... I think they do). Gosh, these sorts of videos are so fun to edit! I think I need to do them more often.
But anyway, I made this video for my friend KELSEY, who is turning 18 on February 12th (tomorrow from where I live)!!! HAPPY BIRTHDAY KELSEY, MY DEAR FRIEND!
A special thanks to TheWolfDiamond for the beautiful sparkles at the beginning (0:37) and the end (3:48) of this edit! Seriously, they are like... my favorite to use ever. Thank you. I use them quite frequently, if you haven't noticed. LOL.

My brother wanted me to make a video to this song for his birthday.
So... I had no choice. I put myself through a lot of pain and suffering to get this done, but thankfully I think it was worth it.

Oh my god, you dont know HOW happy I am to finish this! This has to be one of the most epic and thought-out videos of mine of all time. Who knew that one day I would be editing with Avatar: The Last Airbender? So now I can safely say that this is my first Avatar video and Im quite excited about that! If you watched some of Avatar when you were a little kid and dont have the desire to watch any more, youre seriously missing out. Go watch it.
For the storyline of this video, it follows the storyline of the series about how Aang has to defeat Fire Lord Ozai before Sozins comet arrives during the next coming summer. Ozais unspeakably strong power, honed from Sozins comet, will be enough to wipe out the other nations which will then fall to the ground in ashes, giving victory in the war to Ozai and his ruthless daughter Azula. Aang has to learn all of the bending styles before he is ready to face Ozai, but he is constantly struggling while faced with the hardships of being the Avatar as a worldwide war is taking place. With the help of previous Avatar Roku and his group of friends and allies, they fight their way toward victory in the war and restoring peace to the world which has been left scarred and divided.
My favorite part of this video? All of it! If I had to pinpoint some of my favorite parts, I would have to say that from 3:50 to 3:57 is my absolute favorite, and 2:58 through 3:03 is another one of my favorites. For uniqueness, the whole beginning has it cut. From the chroma keying to the text to the color schemes of gold and gray, I would have to say that Im pretty proud of coming up with something that is such a signature style for this video.
You may have noticed that I decided to try a couple of new things concerning editing style, form, and visual effects. One thing that you probably have noticed right away is my new Japanese symbol watermark, which I will continue using for all of my anime videos to fit the Japanese theme. For those who are wondering what it says: (1)Black (2)Deer (3-5)Twilight, standing for my original YouTube username BlackbuckTwilight(ify). Video overlays have become a big thing for me and I love them a lot! But I was sure not to overuse it and decided to go crisp and clean for the fast half of the video :3
