So, as you have probably guessed from the video or the title, we'll be hosting an animash contest this year! I'll try to explain how the contest will work the best I can but if you have any questions at all or if anything should be unclear, feel free to ask!

There are 6 different categories based on music generes, Pop, Rock, Instrumental, Acoustic, Alternative and Remix. You can sign up for up to 2 categories, as long as you're sure you can do it. Although, if a lot of people want to join this contest you might not get into a second one, so keep that in mind! There are 8 open spots for each category, you cant join a category when all spots are taken. We will try to have a wide variety of editing stlyes in each category and might have to turn down a lot of people that want to join, but we will try our best to make this fair!
The sign ups will stay open for about 2 weeks so you have enough time to consider if you want to join and which category you want. As soon as every category is full we will start to give out the parts, which will be a 20-30 second part of a song fitting to the category. Every contestant of the same category will recieve the same part. You will compete against someone else of your category and there will be a voting to decide who enters the next round. As soon as we have all the entries for one round, we will put them together in a video and upload them here on this channel so the public can vote on it. We will only accept votes through pms, please dont comment on the video for a voting!
The deadlines for each round will be 2 weeks and you can ask for up to 1 week of extra time, but thats the maximum. If you cant do your part, your opponent will automaticly enter the next round.
We also want you to stay anonymous during the contest, that means dont add a watermark on your entry and dont upload your entry until the results of the round are offical. We want the voters to focus on the editing and styles only.
There will be prizes for the final winner of each category (a Mep with a song fitting to the category they won in) and there will be a final last round between the 6 winners to decide the overall winner. The overall winner will be promoted on our channel and get a banner/icon designed by their choice.

If you want to join the contest, please let us know which category you want to join and a second one in case the one you want to enter is already full or if you want to join 2 categories. We'll also need a way to contact you besides youtube during the contest (since youtube messages tend to be unrelieable) so if you have skype or an email adress you check reguarly or any other way to contact you, please let us know.
