For years I told myself I’d live up to a certain point, and now that point has passed. a few days ago.
It is a good thing that I’m alive, but I still feel a big sense of some negative indescribable emotion. I didn’t have any plans or hopes for my future because I genuinely thought I wouldn’t be alive right now. But now I’m actually making real plans for my future.
I didn’t picture myself ever getting a job, a house, or a long-term partner, but now I can at least hope for these things. My classmates made slideshow presentations on their plans to buy luxurious multi-million dollar homes, but I think it’d be amazing and I’d feel so happy if I can even get a ‘normal’ house where I can feel safe. I think it’s mostly about surviving and getting to be free to me.
