Katherine Jernigan is the director of Transfarmation. She has a background in food systems and sustainable agriculture and has grown food and worked with farmers for more than 10 years. She has a BA in environmental studies and a dual MBA and MS in sustainable food systems. Katherine is a relationship builder and collaborator focused on bringing people with diverse backgrounds and specialties together to achieve common goals. She works with Transfarmation farmers to develop and execute their plans for farm transitions and ensures they have the tools and support to be successful.
