Animal Crossing: New Horizons is getting its first MAJOR content update since 2021. After 5 long years of the game's absence, now is the perfect time for me to share why I'm not a fan of New Horizons' menus. I critique the visual identity and pinpoint what about these menus turned me away from the game completely, making it difficult to revisit. As a lifelong Animal Crossing fan, I can admit that we deserve a better gameplay experience, despite the INSANE success of New Horizons.
