Welcome to my Animal Crossing channel. My names Mori and today we are highlighting the latest Nintendo Direct talk, and discussing what Animal Crossing news could be included if a Nintendo Direct did in-fact release in September 2026.
I personally think it's too soon for a new mainline Animal Crossing game, or an Animal Crossing New Horizons successor to launch. I'm just not feeling it. However, I do think Nintendo may consider releasing a remake or spin-off of Animal Crossing instead...
If this was the direction Nintendo chooses to take Animal Crossing New Horizons and the Animal Crossing franchise in 2026, then a September Direct does actually feel like the right time to announce the next Animal Crossing game.
Anyway, Nintendo are super hard to predict, so we also consider past trends, which may or may not confirm what some Animal Crossing fans are hoping for...
