jvgsjeff | Animal Crossing - Forest Quick Comparisons 2024 @jvgsjeff | Uploaded August 2024 | Updated October 2024, 12 hours ago.
Updated for August 2024, this video contrasts my towns in each Animal Crossing game in a series of quick comparisons. Forest is the name of my first (and main) town in each game. I have updated the categories from previous videos, and added some new ones as well. The new categories include which building (and villager) is closest to my house, the most common species and personality in each town, my house score, my town ratings, my villager photos earned, and more.
All background footage is from Animal Crossing: City Folk (Wii), and shows various spots around my town. There's a little taste of the fireworks festival near the end.
0:00 Intro
0:10 About My Town
2:02 About My Villagers
4:23 Museum & Collections
5:18 Achievements & Goals
I regularly post updates on each of these towns on my blogs (I have one for each of these five games!). Check them out on JVGS: jvgs.net
Note #1: Just because a villager is my least-favorite in a town doesn't mean I don't like them. I like Cube, and Louie is alright too.
Note #2: I don't know my GameCube starting villagers because that was 20 years ago, and I didn't keep track of them back then.
Note #3: My town tunes have not changed since the last update, so I did not include them in the comparison this time.
Note #4: For the "Longest Tenured Current Villager" category, I only count the villager's current stint in town (not the total time spent in Forest).
Note #5: I'm not 100% sure about my "first hybrid flowers" in some of the games. Especially City Folk, because I wasn't even paying attention to flowers in the early days...until I was informed by an online visitor of my black cosmos (which I thought was just always wilted for some reason).
Are there any other comparisons I should add to the next one? Let me know in the comments!
