After my OFFERINGS video, I realized that so many texts share the ancient practice of animal sacrifice. While I DO NOT condone sacrificing LIVING THINGS, there may be other options!
Why couldn't we modernize these practices? Much like we have done with other witchcraft practices...
Making cookies in the shape of a familiar or sacred animal could be a great option. You could mix in corresponding herbs or spices, put sigils in the wet dough.
When properly baked you could eat them, leave them out for nature spirits, crush them into your cauldron, or leave them at a crossroads. Hecate may love some dog shaped cookies!

Make doggie (pet) treats in these shapes and ritualistically give them to your pets. [Please make sure they are animal safe; there are a ton of recipes]
