Every year at Christmas the alligators lay their eggs at The Australian Reptile Park. We have to perform the extremely dangerous task of removing the eggs from the nest as the Australian summer is too hot for alligator eggs. We catch the mother then remove the eggs so we can incubate them at the correct temperature so the baby alligators hatch happy and healthy in 60 days time!
