This is how I cut angle iron on my Evolution metal chop saw. These saws have a fence that angles in only one direction and the angle iron presents a clamping challenge. By using some scrap wood that is big enough to transfer the clamping pressure to the vertical flange of the angle iron, you can place the metal in different configurations in order to achieve the angle that you desire.
If you would like to see a review on this chop saw, let me know in the comments.
If you are interested in getting an Evolution chop saw of your own I can recommend this one that I purchased for myself, use and like. amzn.to/3jS46dw
