Would I recommend
- Yes

Recommended Skill Level
- Beginner

Talks about
- General overview of where and why .Net Core came about
- Installing, simple hello world then deployment
- Developing on Windows, Mac and Linux
- MSBuild
- Unit Testing
- Databases and ORMs
- Microservices
- Performance and profile
- Deploying an application

Knowledge Gained
- Few useful tips of using MSBuild in unique ways

Pros
- Very nicely structured
- Easy to follow, read and understand
- Covers almost an entire product release from start to release
- Recommends good further reading per section

Cons
- Very short book, could of been a little more feature packed
- Better book title to describe it

Final Thoughts
- Its a book more about how to work with and deploy apps with .Net Core and no real coding. Nothing wrong with that, but to be noted this book is really for those wondering how to use and consume .Net Core for production and is more suited to those wanting to move from Framework to Core
