I enjoyed Angeline Era. The gameplay was fun and the design clever. It knew just how to keep me on my toes. The plot, I think, largely went over my head. It was going for some things and making some allusions that I clearly was missing. It does have me interested enough to see if someone has information on the various things.

They certainly introduce enemies with less fanfare than they did in Eternal. Also without giving you a little tutorial each time, although in this case, I think its primarily because the enemies dont really require strategy other than parry and maybe heat up their shields.")

This type of environment is always bland in games. It blends together after like two minutes.")

If youre going to make a game that hangs, add an autosave.
Also what are we doing here. Dont put a mechanic in your tetris that punishes clearing more than one line at a time.")

Felt like the end could have used a bit more time to breathe, and maybe some more character-building for the two companions.
Not sure what Eragons plan was there, but oh well.
I liked For Evelyn. The story, while nothing incredibly novel, was interesting, and the gameplay felt just unconventional enough that I had a good time with it. I unabashedly played it because the sequel (currently in early access) seemed interesting to me, but I did have a good time with it. Really nice to see a short RPG, even if it did end up on a cliffhanger.")
