Political activist and author Angela Davis held up a Palestinian flag gifted to her by a university student in Mexico.

“I am so happy that finally we see the international consensus changing and it is no longer with Zionism. It is with Palestine and the desire of the Palestinian people to be free.”

Davis had been part of the Palestinian solidarity movement since she was a college student in the 1960s.
