Grabbed some excellent shots of Andy's killer two-way pickslanting technique on mando thanks to our new modified headstock cam. Because it's on the headstock and uses a telephoto lens, it picks up quite a bit of shake, so we had to stabilize in post. It's not perfect and still a little Jello-cammy. One advantage of the Magnet is that it's closer to the body and is much less susceptible to this. But on a tiny instrument like the Mandolin specifically, in terms of seeing the arm and hand interact, the new cam worked out very well.
