On June 9, 2026, NASA astronaut Andre Douglas was announced as a lander specialist for the Artemis III mission.
Artemis III is a mission to low Earth orbit designed to test rendezvous and docking capabilities between Orion and commercial spacecraft needed to land astronauts on the Moon.
