So I was talking to WeepingStarGazer and she gave me the brilliant idea of using Karen (from DW, Amy) as Clary Fray! At first I wasn't sure because I'm so used to her being Amy.. but I think she actually works really well! :D So thanks so much hun for showing me!
I whipped this up yesterday as a test, thats why its so short andnothebest.

THE FORBIDDEN GAME: this series - which was originally written in the 90s - is actually getting adapted (and like all things, i have mixed feelings about depending on what network it lands on, lol). but i always thought this series was the superior lj smith book (author of tvd, the secret circle, etc).
if youre looking for a fun, exciting, ya horror book during this pandemic id recommend! i definitely read this - and was obsessed, lol - back when i was a young teenager, but the writing still holds up. there are some, uh, stranger bits that i nail down to it being from the 90s and early ya, but overall has some great tropes, dialogue and a satisfying ending. it feels very labrynith-y with david bowie, and ive heard if youve read caraval, this has similar vibes.
