Entry 2 for the OYMC hosted by Hell's Canary

Aesthetic, no full faces (not covered by blur,text,overlays), one show/person/thing
My entry:
Colors: white, black , pink.
Theme: feminism in grey's anatomy
I already had this planned because I missed international women's day on march 8 and I felt like it fit in this contest. while a brief reminder that femininity can expand beyond gendered colors, the cis gender of female and all that;
grey's really tipped the scales in 2004 when it premiered. Iconic scenes I used were meredith's "you don't get to call me a whore,", I used when Bailey makes Meredith head of general- so now every specialty at Grey Sloan Memorial with the exception of plastics is lead by a female surgeon. Of the first 5 intern class, three were female, one was Asian. The show was blind casted, with only Bailey being written. Bailey was written as a tall white woman. Miranda Bailey is actually played by a short black woman. In s12 Bailey is now Chief of the hospital. The female surgeons are not backed into specialties like OB once they have children, they juggle families and work, and projects like when they go for the harper avery.
ANYWAY it's sort of remained as a breaking point for feminist tv shows and will always, despite tipping and coming back, be a model for others to follow.
so the aesthetic is me showing greys defying the stereotypes the spoken word poem kind of shows.
also don't mention the song.
