Pompey's Theatre was a massive complex built by Pompey the Great.
It was the first and largest permanent stone theater in ancient Rome, seating approximately 11,000 spectators.

The building gradually disappeared, and its remains are buried beneath the modern development of the Campus Martius. However, the Theater's outline is still visible when viewed from the air.

In this video will take a detailed virtual video tour to this magnificent building using our new up-to-date 3D reconstruction!
