"Forbidden Fruit" is a melody performed by Tita on vocals & Theodore Koumartzis on a LUTHIEROS Lyre of Hermes. It is inspired by the secret garden of the goddess Hera, also known as the Garden of the Hesperides, where a grove of apple trees bore golden apples.
According to Greek mythology, these golden apples were able to give immortality to anyone who consumed them, and therefore Hera forbid Not trusting the Hesperides to guard the apple trees on their own, Hera also placed a hundred-headed dragon named Ladon that never slept.
The video session took place at Palermo, a Sicilian city noted for its history and culture. The modern city is located in the ancient Greek colony of Panormos.

🎙️ Who is Tita?
Margherita Riotta, known as Sista Tita or Tita, is a songwriter who grew up listening to soul, reggae, gospel, jazz, blues, and traditional Sicilian music. As a result, she developed a unique and multifaceted music style.
Today, she is one of the most influential singers in the Siciliano reggae scene, consistently using her music to promote social and feminist issues to the general public.
Since 2002, she has closely collaborated with her brother, Francesco Riotta. Four years later, they found a music ensemble called "Famiglia del Dud," with which they traveled and performed their music in Spain, Greece, Switzerland, and Italy.

🎙️ Who is Theodore?
Theodore is the youngest brother of the Koumartzis family. Being part of the family's endeavor since its early stage, he soon came to be an inspiring top-notch lyre player, constantly learning and experimenting with musicians around the world.
He is the founder of the PAUSIS Project, a curator at the SEIKILO Museum of Ancient Music in Greece (Thessaloniki), and an integral part of LUTHIEROS Music Instruments.
