Another snippet from my video "Anatmanc (watch it for the whole song!)
It's a prog rock composition I made from a polymeter involving a tom melody in 7, a feet ostinato in 5 and the snare playing variations. I hope you enjoy it!

This video wouldnt exist without all the great human beings below, which Id like to warmly thank. The guitars you can hear (and this solo at the end) were recorded by the outrageously amazing Pierre Danel. Igor de Ferran recorded the bass part in the blink of an eye. David Castel managed to shape these 36000 stems into a beautiful mixed track. The video was filmed/color-edited through Greg Kozos artistic eye. The delightful lightings were conceived and managed by Tom Gadonna. The drums were recorded and mixed by Tom Van Den Heuvel. A special thought to Tim, Benoit and Yann at Midilive studios. And a huge thanks to DPA microphones for the incredible partnership!
Last but not least, Im endlessly grateful to Alain Gozzo and Masaki, without whom this video wouldnt be there.
Im genuinely grateful to all these people for being part of this project and for everything theyve done!
If you wanna dive deeper into how to create and master this kind of original rhythm, and use polymeters in your playing, compositions and creativity in general, I wrote a drum method, The Polyrhythm Odyssey, dedicated to it. You can find it here:
